I also have a friend that used to have flat hair, but since she has changed to another shampoo brand, her hair texture totally changed. The problems I heard about this mascara are it doesn't dry very well, sticky, and gets messy when using it for the lower eyelashes. But it does lengthen, volumize, and separates your eyelashes very well.


L'Oreal Paris Telescopic Explosion Mascara

The problems of this mascara are pretty much the same as the Givenchy's, since they pretty much have the same shape. It gets messy when applying on the lower lashes, and somewhat it's tedious and it takes time when you have to apply on every lashes with the small ball. Also, there's no volume. The good thing is that it does lengthen your eyelashes as advertised, it won't get clumpy or flaky, and you can use it whatever angles you want.

Overall, I think L'Oreal's is better than Givenchy's comparing their two mascaras. The worse problem of Givenchy's is that it doesn't dry well. It can get pretty frustrating: imagine when the colors get all under your eyes creating big black eye circles. Plus, L'Oreal's is much cheaper, so at least it's a better deal.

I've heard this is a really good foundation kit, and it indeed covers your face flawlessly. It comes with brushes, sponge, concealer for eyes and blemish, primer, tinted lotion, and lose powder. So it's pretty much everything that you needed, and it's very convenient. I haven't got one myself yet, but I am sure I will get it later because of the good reviews I've seen and comments I've heard!

A man’s skin is often much tougher and 20% thicker than a woman’s due to his testosterone and pH level. Tips and Steps of Men Makeup (natural and fresh!)

1. Exfoliate. Before applying makeup, wash your face using an exfoliator and warm water. Rub your face gently in a circular motion to remove dead skin cells. Rinse with warm water and pat (don't rub) dry with a towel.

2. Apply Toner. Apply toner to a cosmetic pad and pat it lightly into your skin. Toner is meant to restore the skin to its natural pH level and remove any remaining dirt or dry skin cells.

3. Moisturize. Apply moisturizer with a sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher to your face and neck. Allow the moisturizer to absorb into your skin before proceeding to the next step.

4.Apply Concealer. Mix a little bit of concealer on the back of your hand with a fine make-up brush. Pick up a very small amount of concealer on the end of the brush - you can always go back for more if you need to - and dab it on the center of a blemish. Move to the outer edge with a gentle circular motion, then blend the concealer into the skin.

5.Powder your Nose. Dip the tip of a powder brush in powder and dust it lightly over your forehead and face. Apply a little more pressure when you go over your upper cheekbones, to add definition.

6.Wear Lip Balm. Choose a clear or neutral-colored lip balm that you can use throughout the day. Not only will it give your lips a smooth appearance, but it will also prevent them from getting chapped.

7.Remove makeup daily. Leaving makeup on overnight is not good for your skin. At the end of the day, wash your face again to remove makeup. Finish by using moisturizer. Use a richer moisturizer at night if you have dry skin.

I keep reminding my boyfriend to use skincare products everyday. My boyfriend has large pores on face that easily accumulate dirt, so he needs to use face cleanser everyday. Also, he has some old acne scars which are needed to apply with lotion (specially for scars and acne) everyday. I believe at least it has to take several months for the result to be shown. People grow larger eye circles as they grow older, of course, same for men! I force my boyfriend to use eye cream whenever I use it. He doesn't have these habits until he met me (don't know if this is a good thing or not ^^). Still, he resists to use makeup. Especially one time I tried on him for the "invisible" eyeliner; that means drawing eyeliner under the eyelashes to make your eyes look bigger and more attractive, without the visible line of eyeliner on top of the eyelashes. Unfortunately, he didn't like it. He likes to have a more natural "man" look.

How to apply false eyelashes?

I am bad in putting eyelashes! Sometimes the glue just smear up to my eyelids causing me a lot of troubles...= = I admit I don't have much experience with false eyelashes because I tend to avoid them; due to my unpleasant experience. I remember my first time took me a long long time, and I had to keep taking it off to try again and again. I guess I am getting better now. The more practice you have, the better you're at it. False eyelashes not only make your eyes sexier and more dramatic but also make you look a lot better on camera!

Important Points/Tips
1. Be sure to measure the eyelash to your eye's length. Most of the time you have to cut the lash shorter.
2. Wait for about 15 seconds to wait for the glue to become tacky. The white glue will turn into visible later, so don't be worry.
3. Glue it to your eyes as close to your own eyelashes as possible.
4. Use mascara to blend your own eyelashes together with the false eyelashes.
5. If you see gaps on the eyelash, use your eyeliner to fill them in.
*6. When you use your eyeliner, line it longer passing the eyecorner. It will make your eyes look longer, bigger, and sexier. The same for putting false eyelashes, put it a little pass the eye corner.
7. Do not just pull the false eyelashes out when you're ready to remove your makeup. It will hurt the skin of your eyelid especially eyes are very vulnerable. Use makeup remover to take it off.
